PET polyester film, commonly referred to as PET film, is characterized by its high temperature resistance, excellent printability, easy processing, good voltage insulation, and fire resistance, having obtained UL certification 94VTM-2. It is also environmentally friendly, having passed SGS and ROSH certifications. Made from polyethylene terephthalate as the raw material, it is produced through extrusion into thick sheets and then biaxially stretched into film material. It is a colorless, transparent, and glossy film with excellent mechanical properties, high rigidity, hardness, and toughness, resistance to puncture, friction, high and low temperatures, chemicals, oils, airtightness, and good aroma retention. It is one of the commonly used barrier composite film substrates.
However, polyester film is relatively expensive, typically with a thickness of 0.12mm, and is commonly used as the outer layer material for retort packaging, with good printability. Product colors include transparent, milky white, blue, black, red, green, and yellow. Thickness ranges from 0.012mm to 0.35mm. Width, length, and roll diameter are customized by regular film manufacturers, with no specification restrictions. PET polyester film has passed the US UL certification. This product is widely used in motors, packaging, printing, clothing, electronics, and other fields. We provide slitting reel and block tape services for a wide range of users.
Product prices are categorized based on quality grades and varying thicknesses. PET polyester film possesses excellent physical and chemical properties, as well as dimensional stability, transparency, and recyclability, making it widely applicable in fields such as magnetic recording, photosensitive materials, electronics, electrical insulation, industrial films, packaging decoration, and more. With the development of specialized functional polyester films, new applications are continuously emerging.
